X Platforms, formerly known as Twitter, is experiencing widespread issues for users across the globe. According to Downdetector.in, a platform that monitors website and online service outages in real-time, Indian users are encountering difficulties accessing X Platforms via both the web and app. The global version of Downdetector corroborates this, indicating a significant spike in reported problems primarily affecting app users.

Reports indicate that approximately 50% of users are experiencing accessibility issues on the web, while about 47% are unable to view posts through the app. The peak of these issues in India was recorded around 1:12 pm, with 429 reported incidents. Globally, the problems reached their peak at 1:15 pm, with over 3,700 reports flooding in.

Despite the widespread disruption, the company has not officially acknowledged the outage, and the exact cause remains unknown. This marks the second such incident within a week, following reports last week of users in India encountering difficulties accessing posts via the web. Interestingly, during the previous outage, the app remained functional for many users who were unable to access X Platforms via their PCs.
